Pokeball of the Normal Type

More Pokeball art! Yay!

Now, this picture has a lot of explaining to do, so, prepare for some big-ass paragraphs. I had ALOT of trouble thinking up how to do the Normal Type Pokeball. First, I thought of doing one on a red cushion. And then a plain room. And then a hand. And then thought of a normal everyday situation, like in a house. I asked her whereabouts in a house, and we both agreed on a bedroom.

I also targeted this picture at, teens and young adults who grew up with Pokemon, because where do we all normally spend our day? In our bedrooms, of course! So I really thought the bedroom idea was the best idea. So, I placed a Pokeball on a desk, since that is where we normally spend our time (computer). Among the Pokeball is some normal everyday items.

I made most of the items relate to Normal Type Pokemon of the Kanto region, since the first generation is my favourite. You may pick up a few items. Anyways, I added in Jigglypuff's marker/microphone, since markers are also a generic desk item. I added in some coins relating to Meowth and Persian not only because they're my favourite Normal Type Pokemon but also because of their PayDay technique. I added in a PokeDoll which looks similar to Clefairy, which I COMPLETELY forgot about. I also added in a Clefable key ring on the bag. I added in the Togepi egg, and I forgot that Togepi is actually from Johto. -_- I guess the pocket the egg is in could somewhat/somehow relate to Chansey and Kangaskhan, since Chansey has a pouch with an egg in it. I added in bubblegum and tried to make it look a bit like Ditto, since Ditto looks like a blob. xD And then I added in some jelly-filled donuts, YAY! Wait- wha? I added in some rice balls to not only relate to Snorlax who eats a lot, but to also relate to that we all eat in our bedrooms at our desk. I also wanted to add in an iPod since most of us own one now (not me though, don't care for them) but then I wanted it to be more Pokemon-ish, so I went back with adding in a Pokedex to relate to Porygon, who is basically a cybernetic Pokemon. Just remember the banned episode of Pokemon. I am planning to also draw the Pokedexes in the future. And I added a ribbon onto the Pokemon, because I usually think of bows when it comes to Normal Type. And the other items are sort of just generic desk items. The can is Poke styled.

The writing at the bottom can be read as, "Noomaru Taipu", meaning Normal Type.
