Angry Birds Space

Haha, Pig Bang.

Here is artwork of Angry Birds Space. Do I need to explain what is here? Well, of course I will with details!

This was really, REALLY fun to draw and colour. Maybe because I had also bought some new colouring pencils! Yay! Anyways, I first did sketches of each of them on refill paper, plus coloured them which I never really bothered with. I want to experiment with shading and such in the final piece. I did sketches of the Ice Bird exclusive to Space and the Orange Bird. However, I did not add in the Ice Bird. I want to save for drawing the Ice Bird in it's own picture. I could have added it in but I did not have enough space to draw it above Terence. "No you do!" Yep, I knew that was coming. I could have, but then it would cut off. Sure, the other's cut off, but they're all in a group. My point is, I want to draw the Ice Bird by itself. I will also draw the Orange Bird by itself too. I also apologize if the Blues look a bit crap at all. But the Black Bird was the hardest of all of them to draw. He really isn't easy.

Now onto colouring. The colouring was super duper fun to do. In the actual artwork of Space, they had lighting on them, but I suck at lighting. I feel I am better at shading, and even that took me forever to get the hang of. I actually coloured the Purple Bird (Yellow Bird) a lighter purple. It should have been a darker purple only lightly coloured. D: I got to shade with his goggles too, and I added the shine to them. I also loved colouring and shading the fire on the Black Bird. I also decided to add light around it to give the feeling of light. For the background and such, I added in the moon in the artwork, and decided to detail it. The other two planets are just generic planets. I did not add in the asteroids or whatever they're called because it would be more detailing and I had to idea how to really incorporate them in.
